- 1/4 tsp rock salt
- 7-8 ice cubes
Directions:
- Add mint leaves and water in a blender. Mix till the leaves are crushed completely and have blended well with the water.
- Strain the mint water.
- Add moringa powder, honey, lemon juice and salt.
- Mix well to blend the powder with the water.
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours or add ice-cubes and serve immediately.
MORINGA ICED TEA WITH BASIL AND LEMON
Ingredients:
- Moringa tea leaves or powder
- 1 lemon
- Handful of fresh basil leaves
- 2 tsp honey, or sweetener of choice
- Ice cubes
Directions
- Boil some water and make moringa tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Keep the freshly brewed tea separately and let it cool.
- Add a layer of ice to your glass. Then add some sliced lemons and basil leaves.
- Pour in the cooled moringa tea.
- Add some more sliced lemons and basil leaves.
- Add more ice (optional) and serve chilled.
MORINGA, ORANGE AND ROSEMARY ICED TEA
Ingredients:
- Moringa tea leaves or powder
- ½ tbsp orange zest
- 1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp of honey, or sweetener of choice
Directions:
- Boil water and make moringa tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Keep the freshly brewed tea separately and let it cool.
- In a pitcher add one cup of moringa tea, the rosemary, orange zest and sweetener.
- Add one more cup of hot water.
- Let the tea steep in the orange zest and rosemary.
- Strain the tea to remove rosemary and orange zest.
- Refrigerate it for a couple of hours. Serve chilled.
MORINGA, PEACH AND GINGER ICED TEA
Ingredients:
- Moringa tea leaves or powder
- 1 sliced peach
- Grated or sliced ginger (as per taste)
- 1 tsp of honey, or sweetener of choice
Directions:
- Boil water and make moringa tea. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Keep the freshly brewed tea separately and let it cool.
- In a pitcher add one cup of moringa tea, pitted and sliced peach, ginger and sweetener.
- Add one more cup of hot water.
- Let the tea steep in the peach and ginger.
- Strain the tea to remove the peach and ginger remnants.
- Refrigerate it for a couple of hours. Serve chilled.
