But, with lots of candy and sugary drinks around you, it is easy to get carried away during the festive season. Unlike traditional Halloween recipes that are loaded with sugar, our Halloween smoothie recipes are full of healthy ingredients so that you can enjoy the festive season guilt-free.

Frankenstein Green Halloween Smoothie

This Halloween recipe is made with spinach, apples, banana and pineapple. There is also a boost of protein from moringa powder. This Frankenstein smoothie is a healthy alternative to sugary drinks as it is packed with fresh vegetables and fruits. And the best part? This Halloween recipe is ready in just a few minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 apple, peeled
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon moringa powder

Preparation:

  • Add spinach and water into the blender. Pulse on high until the greens are well chopped.
  • Then add apple, banana and pineapple and pulse on high until you get a smooth consistency.
  • Add moringa powder to the smoothie and stir.
  • Draw monster faces on the glasses with a black marker. Serve the smoothie in these spooky glasses.

Jack-O’-Lantern Smoothie

If you want to cut back on sugary treats and drinks but still want to enjoy Halloween, this smoothie is perfect for you. Loaded with orange juice and frozen peaches, this Halloween recipe is a great naturally sweet alternative that still has lots of Halloween fun! To make this Halloween recipe even spookier, add a few drops of natural orange color.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen peaches unthawed
  • 3 drops organic orange food coloring (optional)

Preparation:

  • Start by preparing your cups. With a black marker pen, draw a Jack o' lantern face on each cup. You can get as creative as you want.
  • Add orange juice, milk, yogurt, vanilla, honey and frozen peaches in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • If you'd like deeper orange color, add a few drops of organic orange food coloring. Stir well.
  • Serve this delicious Halloween smoothie in the prepared glasses.

Skeleton Smoothie

This spooky Halloween recipe is packed full of nutritious ingredients that will help to keep you healthy and happy! Beetroot, the hero ingredient of this Halloween recipe, is a nutritional powerhouse. It’s packed with calcium, iron, folic acid and vitamins. It is also a great source of fiber and potassium. To make this Halloween recipe a little extra healthy, you can replace regular milk with unsweetened almond milk.

Ingredients:

  • 1 raw beet, sliced
  • 1 ½ cups frozen raspberries
  • 1 ripe banana, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon moringa powder
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • the juice of 1 orange
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¾ cup milk

 Preparation:

  • Firstly, decorate the glasses with bat wings and eyes.
  • Then, add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 2-3 minutes, or until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • If the smoothie appears to be too thick, add more milk to adjust the consistency.
  • Transfer the Halloween smoothie to bat glasses and enjoy.
